A Tennessee law firm has a very clever way of creating publicity for itself ahead of Valentine’s Day. The Powers Law Firm in Crossville, posted a news release last week, noting they’ll be “giving away a divorce to the winner of this contest on Valentine’s Day. “Valentine’s Day, to some, is a reminder that they are trapped in a marriage they cannot afford to get out of, or for some other reason.” To apply, the divorce must be agreed upon by both parties, and a story must be submitted about why they want the divorce.
