Howdy, and welcome to the first One To Watch for the new year! This week, we’re featuring a midwesterner (South Haven, Michigan) by the name of Nate Barnes. Unlike some, Barnes didn’t aspire to be a country music singer. According to his bio, music was always a part of his life, but he didn’t really discover Country music until he was an adult. He was ‘discovered’ while on vacation in Tennessee and the rest, as they say, is history. His debut single is called, “You Ain’t Pretty.”
