People may be having fewer kids because they don’t have enough room in their vehicles for more than two car seats. A study from Ohio State University found that women with two children are eight percent less likely to have a third because they don’t have enough room in their cars. Experts say the number of children saved by strict car seat laws is far fewer than the number of children who would be born if their parents had the space to drive them around.
