Howdy, and welcome to this week’s One To Watch! This time around, we’re featuring Mobile, Alabama native Derek Johnson. According to his bio, Johnson’s grandfather knew Hank Williams Senior and taught young Derek how to play guitar at an early age. Johnson served in the Army from 2012 through 2015 and made Country Music and Billboard History by becoming the first Wounded Warrior to chart on the Billboard Chart with his song “Real Cool Kinda Hot.”
His latest tune is called, “Right Beer Right Now.”
