2020 Hodag Country Festival Postponed

By Al Higgins May 28, 2020 | 3:54 PM

The organizers of the Hodag Country Festival in Rhinelander have announced the 2020 festival has been postponed to 2021. Below is their message delivered on their website, and Facebook…

In the best interest of our Northwoods community and dedicated Hodagers, we have made the decision to postpone the 43rd Hodag Country Festival until July 8-11, 2021. Although our entertainers, vendors, and many fest-goers were still hoping to participate in this year’s festival, we feel the safety of our community is more important.

We’d like to thank all of the supporters, sponsors, businesses, non-profit organizations, volunteers, workers and individuals who’ve stepped up to offer help during this unprecedented time.

The possibility of having the Hodag Country Festival has created stress and division in the Rhinelander area, and we are sincerely apologetic for this. It was never our intent. The festival has always been about community. We have been here for 43 years and have always supported the Northwoods area. Hodag hopes we can continue to have your support in the future.

Please hold on to your 2020 tickets and camping permits. Within the next 10 days, we will be emailing and posting instructions to request a refund or rollover for 2021. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through the process.

We are looking forward to next year, and are already working on another awesome lineup. Darius Rucker and many of the same other artists will be there, and we hope to see you too! Until then, stay safe and healthy!
