My name is Jude and I’d like to tell you a story; one of happiness, defeat, and triumph. I had been adopted from HSMC a few years ago and left a happy, sassy gal who was ready to get the most of life. When I returned to the facility I was not only 5 years older but my health was deteriorating and the high maintenance needs of my breed had not been attended to. My ears, eyes, and tail were severely infected and I knew the journey ahead of me was going to be a long one. My staff has been diligent with ear and eye medications and since arriving I have had my tail amputated (but don’t worry, you’ll still be able to tell when I’m happy). I’m a senior gal whose years are numbered but I feel that I’ve been given a second chance. The staff has seen the changes in me as my health has improved and I know I could give a whole lot of love to the family that will love me and care for me properly in my golden years. If you’re looking for a snorin’ couch potato that will insist on being right all the time, I think we should talk. Find out more at the Humane Society of Marathon County website.
